Chelsea Summer
Kingtson Youth Services is helping activate The Strand in Chelsea throughout the summer through live performances of local young musicians as well as a variety of activities hosted down by the Chelsea Foreshore in January.
Come along and show your support for local musicians and come hang out with our youth team by the beach! -
Josie Thornton is Kingston’s Young Citizen of the Year
Kingston Mayor Hadi Saab said the annual awards are a wonderful celebration of the talents and achievements of our young people.
“We encourage our youth to take an active role in our community and we’re proud to host this event to shine a light on their positive contributions,” Cr Saab said.
“It’s always inspiring to hear the stories of our outstanding nominees and how they are working hard to create better lives for themselves and others. This group are passionate about a cleaner, greener planet and are strong, resilient, outspoken advocates for improvements in their schools and communities.
“They have achieved great things across a wide range of fields and are each making our city an even greater place to be. Congratulations to you all.” -
Youth Fest P81 Open House
Youth Fest is coming up in September - bringing with it a whole month dedicated to celebrating all things youth and young people.
Kingston Youth Services is hosting an Open House event at Platform 81 as part of the celebrations - we are opening our doors and welcoming the community to come have a look around at our dedicated youth space, find out what we have on offer and meet our team! -
Mordi JumpStart
We’re thrilled to be one of the 180 local ideas VicHealth is giving a JumpStart!
They’re backing us so we can create an exciting new program for young people in our community.
Over 2023 we will be working with key partners such as Globe Athletic and Wildsoul Wellness Mordialloc to provide an opportunity for young people to gain skills and confidence in trying functional group fitness, boxing, yoga classes, mindfulness and gain access to health nutrition advice. -
2023-2026 Kingston Youth Strategy and Action Plan now available
A strategic plan for the City of Kingston to support, empower and advocate on behalf of young people aged 12 to 25 years in Kingston. Our new plan will focus on four priority areas: young people being supported, acknowledged, connected and prepared. Thank you to all our young people who contributed their thoughts, concerns and ideas to inform our new plan.

2023 Skate of Mind
Kingston Youth Services and the FReeZA P81 Events Committee is proud to once again run the Skate of Mind event for 2023.
Sunday 26 February from 10am to 4pm, Skate of Mind will feature a skateboarding competition, live music, food trucks, prizes and many more! -
2023 Youth Awards
The City of Kingston acknowledges, encourages and most importantly promotes the achievements of young people 12 to 25 each year through the Youth Awards.
The Youth Awards provides an opportunity for community members to nominate young people for their contributions to the community within Kingston. Young people are active contributors to their communities and have achieved outstanding accomplishments across a variety of fields. -

Summer Play
From Monday 9 to Friday 13 January and then again from Monday 16 January to Friday 20 January, Kingston Youth Services will be running free activities from 10.00am to 4.00pm at Chelsea Beach and Mordialloc Beach.

Friday Feels Jam Session
On Friday 16 September, Kingston Youth Services hosted its first ever Friday Feels Jam Session at Platform 81 featuring five incredible young artists.
The Friday Feels Jam Session forms part of a few events and activities that Kingston Youth Services is running as part of the 2022 Victorian Youth Fest. -
2022 Youth Art Expo
As part of the 2022 Victorian Youth Fest, Kingston Youth Services along with Kingston Arts ran the first Youth Art Expo.
Young artists were asked to create a work of art around the theme of 'Hope' and depicting what hope means to them. -
2022 Youth Awards Winner
Each year, the Kingston Youth Awards recognises and acknowledges the contributions of young people in the community. Through community nominations, young people are celebrated for their efforts, achievements and impacts. One nominee is then selected and awarded the 2022 City of Kingston Young Citizen of the Year award.
