Universal History

Universal is a vibrant and exciting free quarterly youth publication which is created in and distributed around Kingston. It is written, edited and designed by young people, for young people. The team has created 38 editions and is still going strong!

Who is Universal?

Our Universal Team is a group of creative, talented young people who meet monthly to develop a print-based youth magazine distributed throughout the City of Kingston.

Why join Universal?

Being a member of Universal provides extensive and valuable opportunities for young people wanting to strengthen or develop skills within the creative industry – whether you are a graphic designer, illustrator, photographer, editor or writer, Universal can provide training, hands on experience as well as contribute to any folio pieces.

Who can join?

If you would like to join Universal  you must be aged 12-25 years and live, work or study in the City of Kingston. Universal meets on a monthly basis from 4-5pm online on Mondays.
