Universal is a vibrant and exciting free quarterly youth magazine designed to provide an authentic representation of youth culture. The Universal crew is a group of creative, talented young people who meet monthly to write, edit and design each page of every edition.
The magazine is distributed throughout the City of Kingston, and with 47 editions already developed, Universal is a great way for creatives to strengthen and showcase their talents and skills.
Being a member of Universal provides extensive and valuable opportunities for young people wanting to strengthen or develop skills within the creative industry – whether you are a graphic designer, illustrator, photographer, editor or writer, Universal can provide training, hands on experience, networking as well as contribute to any folio pieces.
Interested? Complete an Expression of Interest form and one of our youth workers will get in touch with you.
Hear from Hannah speak about her experience with the program.
The Universal Magazine is supported by the Victorian Government as part of the ENGAGE program.
