AYC is an exciting youth space in Aspendale Gardens – opposite the ‘rage cage’ at the Aspendale Gardens Community Centre.

What is the AYC Program?

AYC sessions are activity based and planned by young people. This year we are running cooking sessions on Mondays and Thursdays from 3.30pm to 5.30pm.

AYC also offers a variety of opportunities for you to learn new skills and participate in training which you can add to your resume. Training topics may include Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Food Hygiene and Handling, Barista courses etc.

Why attend AYC?

AYC offers opportunities for young people to gain basic cooking skills during our cooking sessions as well as offer opportunities to take part in free upskilling workshops throughout the year – great for developing and strengthening skills as well as important certifications on your resume.

Who can join?

If you would like to attend AYC you must be 11-17 and live, work or study in the City of Kingston. AYC sessions runs Mondays and Thursdays on a weekly basis from 3.30-5.30pm at Aspendale Youth Cove, 103-105 Kearney Drive, Aspendale Gardens. There’s free access to Macs, internet and printing.
