AYC: Aspendale Gardens Youth Cove
AYC is a new and exciting youth space in Aspendale Gardens. The space is located opposite the ‘rage cage’ at the Aspendale Gardens Community Centre. Visit us at 103-105 Kearney Drive, Aspendale Gardens.
What does AYC offer?
AYC offers specific activities that are supervised by AYC staff and volunteers. Anyone between 11-16 years (unless specified) has an opportunity to try a variety of programs on offer. We would also value feedback on the services we can offer at Aspendale Gardens.

We have an exciting program of activities available in Term 4. Visit the What’s on page for AYC here to see the range of activities that are on offer. All the services provided are at no cost. Young people need to have a signed permission form completed before attending any of the sessions. Please download a copy of the ayc-permission-form and contact us before coming to a session to register.

Skill Development and Learning
On a regular basis AYC offers a variety of opportunities for young people to advance their skills in areas that help towards building resumes and job skills. Training topics may include Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Food Hygiene and Handling and Barista courses etc.
Who is it run by?
AYC is a fully supervised program facilitated by staff from Kingston Youth Services, Aspendale Gardens Community Centre and volunteers. Onsite young people have free access to a Wii-U/games and a drum kit. Young people can help themselves to make a toastie and enjoy other snacks. Our friendly staff and volunteers are happy to assist young people or parents with any questions you may have.
Who is it for?
AYC is open to all young people in Kingston.
