Thriving and Surviving Year 7 with Dr Michael Carr-Gregg
The transition from primary school to high school is when Australian students are at greatest risk of losing interest in school. Kids from 11 to 14 place high value on friendships, and one of students’ biggest concerns when they move to high school is fitting in. Poor relationships with peers, predict lower well being, lower grades and a higher risk of drop-out.
This webinar delivered by one of Australia's best known child and adolescent psychologists, (Dr Michael Carr-Gregg) who will give participants the latest research on the practical skills, knowledge and strategies to manage the transition and build happy and resilient young people for 2022 and beyond.
